Tobi De'Ja Nicol Ewing, affectionately known as Beauty As A Metaphor, is a multidisciplinary visual & movement artist based in Columbus, Ohio who uses art, movement and storytelling as a tool for creative expression and liberation. Through Tobi's visual and wellness practice, she identified a joy for uplifting stories and a desire to rethink the wellness industry. In March 2020, Tobi launched The Self Care Cafe, an experimental storytelling platform and publication. As an artist, practitioner and storyteller, Tobi's work is centered in healing, pleasure, joy, connection and creativity.
